Camel Trek

Camel treks for tourists operate out of Jaisalmer, and from other towns near the Thar Desert. This is as touristy as tourism gets. It's more like a camel ride, and one step up from a coin-operated pony in front of the candy store. Nonetheless it's enjoyable. After an hour's ride, there's a drive out to a camp in the desert, with a meal and entertainment.
