Ollantaytambo

A ruin in the Valley of the Incas, it was most likely a religious site. Manco Inca used it as a fort, and was defeated here by Pizarro. There's an apocryphal story of an Inca princess who fell in love with a Spanish general (Ollanta and Tambo), but I wouldn't bet on it.
